Satisfaction Guarantee: Ampere Electric Cars and Zoom Scooters proudly stand behind the quality and performance of our products. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are dedicated to ensuring you enjoy your purchase.

Returns and Refunds Policy:

  • Return Eligibility: Customers have the right to return their Zoom Scooter within 7 days of delivery if they are not completely satisfied with their purchase.

  • Return Conditions: The scooter must be in new condition, unused, and contained in its original packaging to qualify for a return.

  • Shipping for Returns: Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure the safe return of the scooter.

  • Refund Processing: Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, refunds will be processed within 14 business days. Refunds will exclude any cancellation fees and shipping costs.

  • Cancellation Fee: A cancellation fee of 15% is applicable to all orders that have been processed but not yet shipped.

Shipping Information:

  • Accessory Shipments: Some accessories may be shipped separately from the main scooter unit to expedite delivery.

  • Color Matching: While we strive to accommodate specific color preferences, availability may be limited by production demands. Customers are encouraged to provide a secondary color choice to avoid delays.

  • Cost-Effective Shipping: Our use of consolidated rail transport is designed to reduce shipping costs and provide free shipping for our customers. Otherwise, traditional carriers such as UPS can cost up to $1000 for individual shipping.

  • Tracking and Delivery: Customers will receive tracking information as soon as the scooter reaches our local warehouse. The assigned delivery company will contact customers directly to schedule a convenient delivery time.

Safety Guidelines:

  • Pre-Usage Inspection: Customers should perform a routine check of all essential safety components, including brakes and lighting systems, before each use.

  • Usage Recommendations: To avoid damage to the scooter and ensure optimal performance, avoid using the scooter in excessively wet conditions or on steep inclines.

  • Alterations and Warranty: Modifications or alterations made to the scooter by the customer will void the warranty. This includes any changes to the structural, electrical, or software systems of the scooter.

Legal and Regulatory Compliance:

  • Local Regulations: It is the buyer's responsibility to adhere to all applicable local laws concerning scooter operation, including licensing, registration, and insurance requirements.

  • Insurance Advisory: We strongly advise contacting your insurance provider to confirm whether your policy covers the use of this scooter, as many standard policies may exclude such items.

Warranty Coverage:

  • Comprehensive Warranties: We provide a one-year warranty on batteries, a one-year warranty on the scooter’s motor and motor controller, and a six-month warranty on all other non-wearable parts.

  • Exclusions: Wearable parts such as tires, brake pads, and similar components are excluded from warranty coverage due to their nature of regular wear and tear.  Battery capacity will degrade over time naturally due to usage and many factors.  Battery warranty does NOT replace batteries due to degradation unless battery is completely inoperable within the warranty period.   

  • Customer-Facilitated Repairs: Customers are responsible for labor costs associated with warranty repairs. We offer support in arranging services from mobile mechanics at competitive rates.

  • Support Services: Our commitment to customer satisfaction includes providing free lifetime technical support via phone or video, assisting with most common repair needs.

Limitation of Liability:

  • Damages: The manufacturer or reseller shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the scooter. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, property damage, and any other losses incurred while using the product.

General Provisions:

  • Product Variations: Due to ongoing product enhancements, slight variations in parts, body panels, and rims may occur. These changes are part of our commitment to innovation and improving customer experience.
